ABOUT Wilcom
In 2005, Carlos started working for Wilcom, after 18 years of experience, many training opportunities in the communications field and building strong relationships both nationally and in Australia, he & his wife Anna became the new owners of Wilcom in April 2023. They changed the company name to FrotaNet Limited & retained the well-known trading name Wilcom.
Carlos & Anna took over the business from Karen & Craig Wilson who are now taking a slower pace in life. In the year 2000 Karen & Craig bought a small communications business company called Coastal Communications, they then christened the new shop Wilson communications (or Wilcom for short). This is where it all began, 24 years ago.
Carlos Originally from Brazil, who became a New Zealand Citizen made Gisborne New Zealand his new home after marrying his wife, Anna.
Carlos & Anna have a strong relationship and have worked hard together raising their 5 children, so taking the plunge to work and run the business together came instinctively.
They recognize each other’s strengths and leverage them in their business endeavors, allowing them to complement one another’s skills and expertise. Whether it’s managing finances, marketing, or day to day operations, they work together as a cohesive team.
Carlos & Anna aspire to offer new learning opportunities to the next generation.
Their son Giacomo has been training to learn the skills in the industry.
